Default Tire Reviews

Well another new member to the community with a question......I am looking for your tire reviews based on experience. I'm looking for 305/55/20 once done lifting my 09 am 1500 4" and would like to hear your input on best tire for look, ride, and noise of tire on roads. If you could tell me the brand, where you bought from, and price I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

If they make them in that size then Firestone Destination A/Ts. No noise, excellent traction in all weather, and wear like iron.

Just looked and they don't. Goodrich All Terrain TA/KO would be my next choice.

Thank you Huntjunkie41.... You hear anything about the Nitto Terra's? I have heard good things but also some negatives as well so just curious if you heard anything.

I had Nitto Terras on my '03 Ram and I liked them a lot. The truck wasn't lifted, just leveled. The guy at the truck shop talked me into the 305/55r20 size and they ended up looking slightly smaller than the stock tires they replaced. On a 4" lifted truck IMO they'd look way too small. I say go bigger.

What size would you recommend? I just got the 4" lift and tires will be next but when I need them probably in a few months I'm getting the rough look but want smooth ride....hard part is keeping my nice, quiet ride still giving the rough look and not spending $1500

Of those 3 criteria, pick one. You won't get the "rough look" of an off-road tire without getting more tire noise and a rougher ride. You won't get big tires without spending money. And I really don't think you'll like the look of 33" regular street tires on a lifted truck. Well I wouldn't like it anyway.

The Nitto Terras will look better than street tires and ride better than Nitto Trails but they'll cost you some money.

Ya maybe go a little bigger with tires and meant not $2500.....I def want the look but the least quite and least rough driving tire I can get. I can go bigger as long as the width doesn't exceed 12.5" because that would involve spacers which I'd rather not deal with again.
