Default removed B-pillar blackout pics

here is a walk through of how to removed the B-pillar blackouts on a 09 Ram. Enjoy!

here is a before pic

here is the screw to remove the front door trim piece to allow you to get the bottom of the blackout off.

here is a pic of the front door done before cleaning the little bit of residue off

here is a pic of the screw to remove the rear door trim

i dropped the screw in the hinge and it was a pain in the *** to get back out so i popped the weatherstrip out to put it back in

and here is the after pic.

Guess it depends on the color of the truck. Looks fine on yours, on my white truck I think it looks better with them on.

Thanks, Lancelanz, I was just going to post the question to see if anyone had done it. I was worried about the weathering that sits vertically against the vinyl blackout tape along the length of the pillar, but it appears that the bottom is the only place to be concerned with? Thanks for the photos, man.

i just stuck my fingertip in the top corner of the window weatherstrip and ran it down as i peeled the decal off . i didnt take the bottom trim all the way off just took the the screw out to pull it back a little to get the bottom out.
