Default 33s with No lift or Level

I'm looking to lift my truck, eventually. I will probably go with a 4" Lift, but for now I want to upgrade my tires and save up for a mopar lift, I know there are cheaper, comparable lifts out there but I'm thinking a factory lift will yield better resale value if I ever choose to sell.

But back to the topic at hand, I saw some pictures of guys with Larger then stock tires and I could only assume they were 33s. Just wondering how they Fit? Do they rub? at turn lock or going over bumps?

And does anyone have any pics of their trucks with 33s and no lift
and/or 33s on a 4" lift. I'm worried that if I get 33s now, then later lift the truck 4" the 33s will look to small.

Thanks guys.

You really need to do more research before you post a thread. Use the search feature and you could have found your answer. Anyway, the stock 20's are 33's so no, no lift is needed. With a leveling kit you can get 35's. With a 4" lift you can fit 37's. As far as rubbing it all depends on the rim you are running. Do some research and you will find the rest of your answer's.

P.S By the way I won't be the only one to tell you to use the search engine. Be prepared for a bunch of post's saying that.

Oh yeah, welcome to the Forum!

yeah, a little bit of research would help you out, but i can see if you havent used a forum or atleast not one with the same format it takes time to figure out where stuff is, and to get a feel for it.

dont get 33's if you are going with a 4" lift, they will look tiny. Better off to level it with 35's or leave it stock until you can find a 4" lift.

I'm looking at the 4" and putting on 35s. I've been doing a lot of research myself, I'd wait til you do a lift before you invest in the tires. Check out cpelton's rig from the above post. Great looking setup!!

If you are looking for a 4 inch lift kit, I have a friend on another Forum that can get you a BDS 4 inch lift for a extremely low price. Not sure if he wants me to post it so PM me and I will give you the info. Let's out it this way the BDS kit in now on my short list of Mod's. These trucks look awesome with a 4 inch lift, 35's and the flares. Makes the truck look like a truck. One more thing as for tires, look into the Goodyear Dura trac. They are getting excellent reviews and are not loud like most mud tires.

My sport has stock 33s, 11" wide but they are 33" tall. If you want to do a level or 2" lift get like 33"x12.5" tires and if you do the 4" lift get 35s for sure, Im doing a 2" level with either 275x65r20s 34"x11" or 305x60r20s 33"x12.5".
