Options for good all-season tires (+ mud & snow)
The Cooper Zeon LTZ tires I've had on for a couple years are getting to the point where I need to replace them before next winter. While the LTZs have been a great improvement over the stock Goodyears in terms of snow & ice driving, and the limited muddy driving I've done, they aren't perfect. They have a harsher ride and very crappy life. They also probably cut my MPG slightly since I think they are heavier than stock. I can life with that but I prefer a better ride and longer life.
What are people putting on these days that works well in snow & ice and also some mud (perhaps a farm field in the fall or muddy dirt road)? I'd like to stay someplace close to stock size and really like to have a reasonably aggressive tread pattern (not tread up the sidewall or anything, but more than a passenger car tread look). I'd also rather keep it under $200 a tire, but I suppose that's not very attainable with the rest of my requirements. If I could get more than 35K from tires I would be more willing to drop more money.
Thanks,
Rob

I have the zeon LTZ on my 06 and have the yokohama Geo lander ATS on my 10 and i found the grip of the yokohama much better than the zeon, watch this video there is a small part showing my 10 with yokohamas on icy snow and mud underneath, you ll see it after the the video reaches the second minute

I had LTZ and went to AT3's.
AT3's are not as aggressive but get MUCH better snow traction. Just BEWARE, standard load AT3's are only 12/32nds tread where as E-Load are 16/32nds tread! Get the 275/65/20's(34"). They have 16/32nds of tread. The stock 275/60/20 size like I have don't and I was rather dissapointed. Coopers site is misleading...

Thanks for the pics and tips on the AT3 tires. The LT tires may have 30% more tread depth, but they also cost almost that much more per tire. And I'd assume they are a bit stiffer so they probably ride more harshly, like my Zeon LTZs do. Not ruling them out, just calling out the pros & cons.
