RE: Dual cold air intakes
that or what i heard what someone else did is they got extra tubing and directed them to the wheel wells on each side and then wrapped the tubing from the intake all the way to the filter with heat wrap...it takes some handy man modding but if its done right i think it'd work pretty good

Dual intakes won't help you any more then a single intake.. you can still only take in 14.7 PSIyou should get a supercharger if you want more then that.. the only reason to get dual cold air intake would be for some under the hood bling.. if you are going for performance , do what someone else said and run your intake down by your fender where the air is actually cold

why not just put in ram air? im looking to do it, and if ur like me, with very little $$, i would think vinyl dryer duct would do just fine...

Unless you are going to be doing over 135 mph, you are not going to get any performance gain from adding ram air. Like Red said, the throttle body can only flow 14.7 psi. In order for the TB to flow more air than that, you would have to be doing at least 135, or get a supercharger that will ram the air into the motor. Ram might look cool....but your not going to see any performance gains at all.

RE: Dual cold air intakes
Air pressure is poor, but pressure is not what you are after with a cold air intake. Your after less constriction. The stock air set-up isn't bad, but none the less, it is more restrictive than a "cold" air intake. There are bends, and dead ends where the air loses its flow velocity. Adding aCAI isamuch less restrictivepath, so faster throttle response is what is achieved. And of course- cooler air. Cooler air = more power.
