1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L Auto 4x4
Trying to sell my truck or at least get a value idea. Its a 1996 Ram 1500 5.9L 360 V8, Auto, 4x4, Short Box, Ext. Cab, SLT Laramie Package(Power Mirrors, Locks, Windows, Seat), fog lights, 155k miles, Rebuilt tranny at 130k, 6 months/30k miles warranty left on it.
Its the truck in my sig, the power tow mirrors DO NOT come with it, it will have the factory stainless steel power ones, both are perfectly fine. Also, the 5th wheel plate does not come with it. The grille gaurd does not unless you want to buy it for extra. Not sure one the tire, it has less the 8k on new Goodyear Authoritys (yes the wally world ones), but the truck I am looking at replacing it with has highway tires and not these agressive ones. tool box and headache rack also do not come with. basically you will be getting the truck as I bought it plain jane. I do have running boards that go with it, I can put them on if you want. The bags and leaf also go with it.
I'll try and find some pics. It is completely free of the typical dodge rust. No rust anywhere on this truck. I yanked the running board off right away because they are a big rust causer. It has a few dings here and there, must have been in a minor hail storm before I got it. It does have a scratch behind the drivers door on the Ext. cab section. I fixed it with a paint code match scratch repair kit which I will send the rest of that kit with it. It gets a good complete wash and wax every year, and a normal wash atleast once a month.
This was my first truck and I really wish I could keep it. It has a lot of sentimental value to me and I am finding it hard to part with, but the want for a Cummins Manual is over powering the sentiment. If I didn't want/need a bigger truck I would run this one forever. It has broke down, but has NEVER made me walk.
Hoping to get $6000, but make an offer all I can do is say no.
