Default 72 Charger Special Edition

My Dad bought the charger 15 years ago running, His hope was to keep it running and restore it. after a few years the car ended up sitting and that is where it is today. I know we have an extra set of doors and two extra deck lids, We have everything to make the nubers match for an original car. The other day some said they were interested in it but did not know what they would be willing to pay for it. My dad talk to me and told me he was going to offer it to the guy for $250. I think he is givin the car away at that price. The only reason I can take it is because I have no place to store or work on it yet. I have pictures i just don't know how to post them so if you want to see the car and you can post them for me let me know .

Go over here and look around http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php. $250 may be giving it away. As a parts cars it may be worth a heck of a lot more and if restorable who knows.

Good luck.

Sounds like a giveaway price to me.... even if it's just a parts car. Feel free to send me the pics if you want them posted.

If it is a true SE, the grille alone is worth twice the $250 price. That car is a one off body style and can be worth quite a bit more to someone needing '72 SE specific parts like the tail lights or the quarter windows. I'd say at least a grand without seeing it and assuming it's a 318 car, but pics will tell the story much better.

Here's some of the pics... it probably is a parts car, unless it's a factory big block with the original drivetrain present... it's pretty rough, but even as a parts car, it's probably worth 1500 bucks. It's still got a lot of good parts left. My advice would be to advertise it on these 3 sites if you're serious about selling it:
www.dodgecharger.com
www.moparts.com
www.1971-1974dodgecharger.com

My dad had the same car except dark green with white racing stripes! the same scenario, it was sitting for 15ish years in swamp like conditions, ended up selling it to a guy for 2000 and that was giving it away. I'm not sure if it ran or not anymore either

Might have more luck by posting your request at either:
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php or
http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

They tend to be more oriented to the classics and have a lot more traffic than this section of DF. Might help if you had some additional info as well, such as last known location, etc.
