Default Grandcaravan stalling

My 2000 Grandcaravan stalls when ideling. If i put it on neutral and gas it up it will stay running. I've change the coil and map sensor already. I'm not really sure if my problem is the fuel pump. I have no check engine light so I'm really confuse.

help!

Cliff

Could be nothing more than fuel filter.

There could be many reasons for it to stall. You could start with an OBDII scan and see if there are any codes present. Then check fuel pressue.

I had a similar problem with my '96 GC and I don't know if your problem is the same.I had no check engine light or OBD codes.
On mine, the idle bypass passage was gummed up. I was told that this is a common problem. If you remove the rubber bellows that goes into the air intake you can see the black buildup inside the tube. The throttle butterfly is closed during idle and the engine gets its air through the idle bypasspassage which is controlled by an idle solenoid. Thispassage gets gummed up and the idle air gets cut off. The best way to clean it out is to remove it and clean it in parts cleaner but I heard that carb cleaner spray works too. Good luck

I cleaned the TB with carb cleaner and I hope this cured the stalling. Thesucking sound became louder after half ofthe can was gone. I drove it around and so far it did not stall.

Thanks

The carb cleaner did the trick. I should have done this from the begining and its less than $3.00
