This 1985 Dodge D350 is a Bagged Showstopper

Riding low, cruising slow, and stealing the show: That’s exactly what this extra-wide, extra-spicy Dodge dually is all about.

Whether you like it or not, several new trends have taken over the pickup truck scene, and they’re not for the faint of heart. Not long ago, outfitting a truck meant adding heavy duty bumpers, raising the suspension, adding a grille guard. Nowadays, it’s a bit more… complicated.

Dodge

Take this dropped 1985 Dodge D350 crew cab for example. Recently filmed by the good folks at Salinas Photography, it was the subject of an intensive build by Vulcan Specialties in Lubbock, Texas.

According to the video’s description, this bad boy was displayed at SEMA in 2016. It rocks a custom interior, paint job, and suspension setup. More importantly, the old-school pickup is powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel motor paired to a six-speed manual transmission. Yes, we said a six-speed manual!

By the looks of it, much time, love and money went into Vulcan Specialties exquisite build. But how could it not when the truck was commissioned by the owner of the shop?

As you’ve probably guessed, the Dodge’s pièce de résistance is its air suspension. The one-off setup utilizes flat plate control arms up front, and parallel four-link in the rear. The airbags are controlled via AccuAir Suspension, and they support 22-inch American Force Wheels.

All in all, this is an awesome package that certainly isn’t for everyone. But that’s okay because a truck this unique deserves a unique owner.

Don’t you think?
