With upgrades in every possible area, this Demon-swapped 2023 Jeep Gladiator quite literally does everything well.

There’s a reason why the Jeep Gladiator has become such a popular entity on today’s new vehicle market – there’s simply nothing else like it out there. No one else sells a mid-size truck with serious off-road capability and a removable top and doors, and it doesn’t look like the Gladiator will be gaining any direct competition anytime soon, since Ford ultimately decided not to make a Bronco pickup. But the Gladiator is missing just one tiny thing that would make it better – a V8 – though the folks at America’s Most Wanted 4×4 will happily build you one – just like this bonkers Demon-swapped 2023 Jeep Gladiator that’s going up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction.

Appropriately nicknamed “Highlighter” thanks to its retina-searing High Velocity Yellow exterior hue, this Demon-swapped 2023 Jeep Gladiator isn’t just a pickup with an engine swap, however – rather, it’s a total rebuild, one chock full of fantastic upgrades. That includes AMW LED headlamps, illuminated power steps with a rocker guard, KC trail lights, a Warn Zeon Platinum 12,000-pound winch, a custom AMW bobbed bed, 17-inch KMC forged wheels, and and 40-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires.

Underneath, the Gladiator has been beefed up for the trails thanks to the addition of the AMW 8-lug 60/80 spindle axle package, a long-arm suspension package, cylinder-assist steering with 1.5-ton linkages, and Barbarian 8-piston brakes. Inside the cabin, the new owner will be awash in comfort thanks to loads of Tuscany leather with accent stitching, which covers many surfaces including the seats, shifters, and grab handle.

The real star of this proverbial show, of course, is what lies under the hood – the legendary supercharged 6.2-liter Demon Hemi engine, which cranks out an impressive 840 horsepower and 770 pound-feet of torque, which sends its ample amount of power to all four wheels via the heavy-duty 8-speed Trackhawk automatic transmission. Stuffing an engine designed for a drag-focused car into a Jeep is like a match made in heaven, and truly makes this a thrilling and capable machine, to boot.

Ultimately, combining the supreme off-road capability and open-air cruising of the Wrangler with a bed and loads of V8 power results in what we like to call the ultimate pickup – a vehicle that can quite literally do everything well, and that’s precisely what makes these types of builds so darn appealing.
