Dodge to Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Nice Helping of Savagery

Santa Goldberg is here to bring back ‘Dodge Power Dollars’ for Black Friday, making for great deals on the all-star 2019 lineup.

What could be more festive than an angry Santa with a cutoff shirt and tribal tattoo? Well, how about the cheerful slogan he brings along?

“Dodge Power Dollars to all, and to all…out of my way!” says the cheerful-looking Santa, played by WWE legend and long time Dodge brand ambassador Bill Goldberg.

Whether or not this ad by Dodge tickles your holiday fancy, the Power Dollars deals just might! If you’re in the market for something new from the iconic brand, Black Friday might be your day! This epic commercial features both a Widebody Charger and Challenger Hellcat, as well as a Durango SRT.

“Power Dollars” is Dodge’s program that allows a cash allowance to well-qualified buyers based on how much power the car makes. The original campaign allotted ten dollars per horsepower and was only available to Durango, Charger, and Challenger buyers. That being said, it did cover the span of all trims. For example, if you were buying a Hellcat, it’s 707 horsepower would net you a cash allowance of $7,070. That’s quite a discount!

Though, we can’t seem to find anything official stating that ten dollars per horsepower will be the figure again this time around. In fact, on Dodge’s website, it shows some of their Black Friday deals already. It currently states that the max cash allowance on a V8-equipped Challenger is $3,750. However, that could change.

Another Interesting find on the website, though, is their offering for 0% APR financing for 72 months. That is a crazy good deal, and if you’re a qualified buyer, it would be hard to pass that up! Additionally, they are offering up to $4,000 cash allowance for Dodge Journey models.

Based on the ending scene, it appears that the deal may only apply to the Durango, Challenger, and Charger once again. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled to see what kind of deals they will run for Black Friday that have yet to be made public.

One thing is for sure, though. Dodge certainly knows how to catch your attention with advertisements! We look forward to more Dodge commercials this Holiday season, and maybe we’ll even see a couple more before Black Friday.
