Final Dodge Last Call Model to Be Revealed at Special Event in March

After being delayed over blown engines, the final Dodge Last Call model will debut at a special event open to the public.

Thus far, a grand total of six Dodge Last Call special-edition Charger and Challenger models have been revealed, each intended to celebrate the end of an era, quite literally, as the automaker prepares to both end production of those long-running vehicles and itself for an all-electric future. However, the final Dodge Last Call model was supposed to debut at last year’s SEMA Show in November, but the brand later announced that it would be delayed due to the fact that it kept blowing engines during testing. Now, however, it seems as if Dodge has gotten past that proverbial road block, and is set to debut the final Last Call model at a special event in March.

Rather than just pull the covers off this new limited offering and call it a day, Dodge will host a party of sorts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 20 – one that will feature drag racing on The Strip at the speedway, Dodge’s “Thrill Rides,” a car show, celebrity appearances, and a post-event afterglow, while the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept will be on display for attendees to check out in person. The reveal event will be open to the public, and enthusiasts will also be able to view the action via a livestream at DodgeGarage.com.

For now, at least, it’s unclear what the final Last Call model will look like or offer in terms of performance, but expectations are understandably high given what we’ve seen thus far. It will join the already-revealed Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona, and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost as the special array of vehicles designed to commemorate the Challenger and Charger, which are coming to an end in their current Hemi–powered form at the end of 2023.

The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept combines modern looks with a long, wide and confident road presence. The front grille stands out with cross-car illuminated lighting centered by a white illuminated Fratzog badge.

“The Dodge ‘Last Call’ event will be a celebration of Dodge performance,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer, Stellantis. “While the ‘Last Call’ special-edition model we will reveal at Las Vegas and the electrified Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept represent different performance eras for our brand, both are linked by a commitment to delivering the Brotherhood of Muscle a vehicle that drives like a Dodge, looks like a Dodge, and sounds like a Dodge. No matter the era, Dodge will always be about muscle, attitude and performance, and that’s what this event will celebrate.”
