Migos Rapper’s Wrecked Challenger Honored at Album Release Party

Dodge Challenger

Losing a Challenger sucks but at least it looks like this accident helped make Offset a better person.

Whenever we see a wrecked modern-day muscle car, it usually generates a lot of moans and groans. Mostly because we know that some non-driving knucklehead probably did something stupid and wound up destroying a car that deserved much more out of life. But when Offset, star of the mega-popular rap group Migos, wrecked his Dodge Challenger last spring, it seems to have been more of an eye-opening experience for the young star than anyone else.

Thankfully, Offset suffered only minor injuries in the fairly horrific looking single-car crash. Sadly, on the other hand, his Challenger was a total loss. But it’s clear that the young man didn’t just brush off the memory of his beloved ride afterward, disposed of like so many other famous folks do. Instead, according to TMZ, he brought a similar smashed up ride to the release party for his debut solo album, Father of 4.

Clearly, Offset hasn’t forgotten where he came from. The Challenger, which sat outside his Atlanta venue, was joined by a series of pictures and home videos documenting his childhood inside. Clearly, he wants to convey the message that he hasn’t forgotten where he came from. So in this case, at least, perhaps the loss of a Challenger at least helped to make one person a little better.
