A Plum Crazy Dodge Charger Is the Best Kind of Charger

I recently had the opportunity to spend a week behind the wheel of a 2016 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for a few reasons. One of them being — this car is Plum Crazy.

Sure, in reality there’s another 485 big and powerful reasons why the Charger Scat Pack is ab-so-lu-tely freaking awesome, but it’s the level of attention that an obnoxiously cool purple muscle car gets from every one within 500 feet that’s truly mind-blowing. Oh, and the thunderous exhaust noise the 6.4 liter HEMI sends out from its twin exhaust pipes nabs some attention too.

While most press vehicles are usually loaded through the roof with pricey options, this particular plum-colored test-vehicle featured the $995 Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system as its one and only option, which highlighted just how obtainable this family-friendly muscle car really is. The grand total for this bad boy? $41,685 including a $995 destination fee.
