Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge 2021

Rolling into Metro Detroit August 14, Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge features Hellcat Grudge Match between TV and YouTube stars.

How hot do you like your August nights? Such nights are perfect for taking your favorite Dodge or Ram out for a boulevard cruise. Maybe even down to the local track for some bragging rights and cash on the quarter-mile. Not to mention getting together with your fellow Mopar fans to show off the finest from Auburn Hills.

How about all things in one night, though? Well, you’re in luck, especially if you missed being in Detroit for the happenings along Woodward Avenue. The legendary avenue comes back to life in 2021, beginning with Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge on August 14. And this year, the avenue will be burning with the flames of Hellcats.

Eric Malone - Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge 2021

Roadkill Nights has grown tremendously over the past few years, but for 2021 we’re bringing back the grassroots feel, the drama and the fun with the Hellcat Grudge Match to see who can build the craziest and fastest car,” said Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis. “This is street racing on Woodward – the build rules are loose for a purpose so we can see these builders really push the envelope with their vehicles.”

The aforementioned Hellcat Grudge Match is a TV vs. YouTube superstar battle with Eric Malone as the lead. Malone, the star of MotorTrend TV’s Fastest Cars in the Dirty South, will face a handful of YouTube personalities in a build-and-race competition. All parties will receive a Challenger or Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye and $10,000 to build out a hellish quarter-mile dominator. Then, the YouTubers — Tavarish, Alex Taylor, Westen Champlin, and Throtl — will pit their builds against Malone on Woodward.

“I’m looking forward to matching my car modification and racing abilities against Alex, Tavarish, Westen and Throtl,” said Malone. “I have some big plans for my SRT Hellcat Redeye that include coming to Pontiac with more than 1,000 horsepower under the hood. All of the Hellcat Grudge Race challengers better bring something really special to keep up.”

Meanwhile, Roadkill Nights Powered By Dodge will also have thrill and drift rides featuring Challenger and Charger Hellcats, racing sims in the Demon, car shows, exhibitions, and the wild and whacky stunts from the Roadkill crew. And if you want to watch and/or participate, registration and ticket info can be found here. Gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., drag racing starts at 11 a.m.
