Default Tuning involved in cold air intake.

I have an issue i have been told that there is alot of tuning involved with adding a cold air intake.I am look at some different AEM products. If there is any can you send me to a place so i can read up on it.

There's no tuning with an aftermarket intake . There's enough play with the ECU itself.

You don't have to do anything. The ECU does it on it's own. It gets additional info from the o2 sensors, temp sensors, etc. All you do is make sure that you put everything back on nice and tight.
What gave you the impression that you had to tune the ECU?

i interpited different. I have been suggested AEM is there anything different that you would suggest and if there is send the link my way please.

K&N will do fine. Also note that Eclipse non-turbo intakes will work too.
I have a resource list in the sticky section of this forum which has links and also an Intake FAQ up there too, check it out.

It's best to disconnect the battery and leave it unplugged for an hour when you install the cold air intake ...this will allow the ecu to relearn the A/F curves ect it made a difference on mine I installed first then ran it then unplugged ...
