Ive heard that the 2.5 is better for turboing due to the thicker walls? But I understand having a bigger engine to get more power. Still need to research for myself, but I have seen that posted somewhere on the forum I believe.

I'm not sure how much thicker the walls are as some one is running the 2.5 heads on the 3.0 block ... if there was a difference I'd doubt that would work

I'll have to look for it and quote it, but I think Steve said the difference wasn't huge, but thicker is thicker. If you think about it, the 6g73 is basically a bored out 6g72. It made sense to me when Steve brought it to light and it stuck.

Good find bud. I wish I had quoted Steve on that one. As you can see that was in 2006 and Steve had been saying that for some time before then.
