Its an 9 in my book for a swap from a auto to a manual. I only done 2 swaps but they were the same motor so you'll have to wait from a reply for Silvercoupe or Bad Venge.

Since u work at autozone how much are spark plugs wires for a 2000 Infinite I30 V6 3.0L?

The 2.5 to 2.0 swap is going to be QUITE the ordeal you'll need the harness a haines/chiltons manual and a good understanding of wiring ...
I'd personally do the 2.5 to 3.0 swap ... It's an easy weekend swap ... Info here

Yeah I thought about going from the 2.0L to a 3.0L but I heard it will be auto if thats the case it just a waist of time.

STA - Yeah I alredy check out autozone they didn't have them. I'm guessing $40 per wire cuz it the coil on wire type.

what do you mean by a good understanding of wiring? I am just going to steal the whole harness out of a 2.0 neon and slap it in my car. im not going to screw with cutting and splicing my current harness or will that be easier? im putting the 5 speed in there also so will my factory guages still worrk at all or what? please comment me back with all of the info that you have. Thanks.

The electronics in for the 2.0 will need to be swapped in and the electronics of the 2.5 will need to be removed. That includes, but not limited to, the instrument cluster, ECU (you won't need a TCU with a manual), motor electronics/sensors, etc. You won't have to swap in or out the parts that are just plugged in electrically because you can just splice connectors. The suspension components are a tad different...strut assembly. The drive axles are different, possible hub assembly, crossmember (if the tranny mounts are even a millimeter off).
That swap isn't a plug and play if that's what you're thinking. It seems that way with your engine harness commment.
By no means am I trying to make it look harder than it is because it's not, but you need to be mentally prepared to do it or you will break and eventually toss the project out the window.
This is considered a headache because there is already an option with the 2.0 with a manual tranny. Unless you have some emotional ties with the body of the car or you're making it something different altogther, it's less of a headache and time consuming to just buy a trim with what you want. If you don't want to sell what you have, you can always use it as a spare parts car for the body and trim.
That is my view on swaps like this.

does this mean that i can just leave my engine wiring harness and splice the electrical connectors for the 2.0 into the same harness or no? I know that the cluster will have to be changed. and i do beleive that the mounts are in the same spot though becuase the motor is just moved over anyways to make it centered. and anyways how difficult is it to put a wiring harness in? and what all does it connect to inside the passenger compartment? i know the guages and ignition but technically cant i just put the new ecu in plug in my old harness (plugs are the same) and splice the sensor wires in? (is this possible)? i just love my car to death it means sentimental value to me and i really want to this swap. it shouldnt be to bad once the wiring is done and i can just order the passenger side cv axle for the 2.0 avenger becuase the driver side is the same, (i already looked it up at work.(AUTOZONE) so i just need the passenger side so that makes the hubs the same to. im just concerned about the wiring. please comment me back with lots of info. like everything that i will have to do and is there anywhere that i can find out if someone has done this and everything that they had to do. thanks again

You'll have to get BOTH manuals and harness and compare wiring wire by wire to ensure they go to the SAME thing you say the plugs are IDENTICAL but I truely DOUBT the wires run to /do the same thing many times they use the same plugs but go different places do different things ...
I'm ASSUMING you are planning on an Avenger donor car ??

welll actually it is extremely hard to find a 4 cyl avenger for sale or donor at a yard. I am Planning on using a neon as a donor car for the harness same year and everything, same motor DOHC, and manual 5spd, so i know it will work. It shouldnt be to bad putting a harness in is it? I know it takes time but more time than complicating.
