Default Higher performance alternator needed?

I am upgrading my stereo system to where I will be gettingabout 1500 rms total. I have a 1998 avenger V6 automatic. Do you think i will need to upgrade the alt to handle this? And if so, can you provide me with a link of where I can get one online?

Another option would be maybe just upgrading battery to this:

or is this a better option:

This calculator will tell you the required alternator rating for your vehicle at peak usage. It may not be possible to meet these specs with a single alternator or even necessary to. Many other factors come into play such as driving and listening styles. It will however give you the ideal answer and a good indication of your present alternator's ability to supply your system. It takes into account the current draw of the OEM electrical accessories, the current draw from your amplifiers at peak draw and the current draw from any other electrical accessories (neon, fans, strobes...) in your vehicle.

Alternator Specs

Calculate the Required Alternator Rating for Your Vehicle
Input
Total Amplifier Power? 1500Watts
Amplifier Efficiency?
(Class A/B Typically 50-60% Class D 70-80%) 85%
Charging System Voltage? 13.8Volts
OEM Alternator Rating? (Typically 60-130Amps) 110Amps
Total Current Draw of Accessories Added Other then Amplifiers? 65Amps
Output
Required Current Rating of Alternator at Peak: 303Amps
Power Drawn From Charging System: 1765Watts

So based on 300 amps, i take itI need a pretty big alt? I was hoping I could slide with just a battery upgrade.

Ok thanks. I might just upgrade the batt for now and see what happens then. My equipment is in the mail but I am just trying to think ahead. i could also keep the gains down a bit in the mean time.

You know anything about these Kinetic batts? On different forums I have read they can outperform yellow and red tops
