wats it mean when blue smoke comes outa the exhaust my bro said it was smoking a bit and my car was due for an oil change so i did it and after blue smoke came out a bit does that mean i filled it with to much oil i might have half a qt or so

How much smoke is coming out? If it's a lot, you may have a blown head gasket. I would check the oil for coolant and the coolant for oil regardless. I would also check your PCV valve and breather hoses (the two hoses that come from the valve covers and go into the intake tract). I would also pull a plug and check it for oil, on the plug and the in the chamber.

As a engine gets a lots of mileage, the valve seals starts to leak oil on top of the exhaust valves causing the blue smoke, and if it go away after a few mins its okay, but if have blue smoke after it been warm up. You may have piston ring problem. ( maybe oil ring )

Might want to check the plugs too.

They may be oil fouled.
