Both my lower ball joints are very bad. It shows that my car was taken in for the recall in 2000. Does anyone know if there is if there's a way to see if the ball joints were defect and an improper recall check was made or if it they could get that bad from just wear and tear (200,000 miles now - 120,000 since 2000)

 

it was supposedely a "lifetime recall" there have been others that have had them replaced multiple times... I think bitching at customer service may be involved but other dealers cover it no questions asked ...

 

Bad venge is right, You need to call customer service and tell them that you understand that the lower ball joint recall is lifetime warranty.
