Default 02 sensor removal

on my 2.0 both o2 sensors are factory typenever replaced till now, only problem is they are on so tight i caint get them to turn with the o2 sensor and a rachet, any sugestions?

Bang the **** outa it until it gets loose.. hammar and a rachet should do it. or if its realllly rusted on there just get sum liquid wrench (and penetrating oil) and spray sum on there and it should break up all the rust buildup and should loosen. i had the same prob. recently and i was tugging on it so hard i thought the car was going to fall off the jack on top of me.but i just got sum pen. oil and she still required a lil work and eventually worked itself loose

kool, i was doin a chrysler the other day, same situation, but i ended up breaking the sensor in have, lol, i thought it was awsome, my girl was pissed though, so i toke it to a muffler shop, they charged 65 dollars just to remove it

Sometimes heating it with a propane torch will help break it loose too , just be careful if you have it soaked in penatrating oil ...

yea, the oil, and torch didnt help, would a impact do the job?
