Default Oil Pressure

ok i posted before about my 98 dodge venge but theres something im not sure about on the engine like my oil pressure gauge on my dash, once the car is started and running shouldnt that show one constand measurement instead of the needle going up and down with the rpms? i cant figure out if its suppost to go wit the rpms or if its a steady pressure? can anyone help?

it should be one measurement, u should check, or even change ur oil, is it a 2.0 or 2.5, the 2.0 takes 4 qurates of oil, the 2.5 takes 5 quarts of oil

It's normal for slight needle movement with RPM's as the pump is run harder with higher revs ...

I'd say it's normal ... mine fluctuates about the same from idle to full throttle ...
