power lock

Default power lock

im replaceing the factory alarm in my 95, the brain was fried anyway, but does the avenger have power locks? when i got her, it didnt have a clicker thing

You have to tell us if it has power locks... if the drivers door has a lock unlock switch then yes you do ... as for keyless lock/unlock likely if you have power locks yes ... you can get the remote off of ebay

it dosnt have a switch, but it had a alarm, so would that make it keyless entry also?

If you have no lock/ unlock on the drivers door panel you don't have power locks .... the only way you'd have keyless is if someone installed actuators in the doors and a remote unit aftermarket ....

got it installed, i just hooked up the power wires ant the siren and the light wires and starter defeat wires, left all the accessory like power doors, windows and trunk wires unhooked

95_dodge_avenger , For the system you put in, could you tell me how u hooked up the starter? I have a Avital Tornado system in my car and i was told it has auto start but a wire or something went bad. Any help would be great.

u need to remove teh panel under the steering wheel, and right under the coloum on the right side, ull see a fat white wire, thats the starter wire, i had to cut that wire and hook it up to the starter defeat wires on my alarm
