About a month ago i started up my 96 avenger and everything was fine. As i started to leave the parking lot at school my car shut down and didnt start up. You can here the fuel pump pumping and ive checked the distributor coil, asd realy, cam shaft senor, timing belt, the crank shaft sensor all the spark plugs. The starter is fine but im not getting any spark at all. Any suggestions on wat it could be?Thanxs

How did you "check" the CMP and CKP? Because a physical inspection will only tell you if they're physically damaged.

And start by seeing if the PCM has stored any fault codes.

me and my dad tore the whole car apart and swaped out the crankshaft sensor and tested the camshaft sensor. the mechanic across the street said that these cars have problems with the volts acually getting to the sensors and injectors. I ran the codes and it came up 11 and 12.

Volts getting to the sensor is the relays I reffered to on the first post

CEL codes

11

No crankshaft reference at PCM

Check connector at PCM / Check crankshaft position sensor

11

Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more

Check timing belt / Check crankshaft sensor and camshaft position sensor / Check PCM connector

11

Intermittent loss of camshaft position or crankshaft position

Crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor connector

12

Direct batter input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles

Check Battery connections / Informative Code

12 is you disconnected the battery
