and that side pic is even misleading. i pulled my subs out about 4-5 inches so they could be seen better when i showed them to sum friends. so add about 4-5 more inches to the trunk in that pic

There is NO direct replacement factory amp , It's a six channel ....
best to get a four channel and rewire the front channel dash/doors into two

alright.. this is getting very annoying. evey time i turn my system up the bass it too much for the rear view mirror and rattles the rear view mirror so much and it makes a REALLY annoying rattling noise... is there ANY way of stopping the rattle other than ripping the dang thing off?

Some can be tightened lock for small hex nuts at the joints, others can be dampened with dynamat others can be siliconed at the joints , but there will still be shaking ....

How does our sound system diff from the elscipse. I heard that they something different either in the part where you read the your speed and mileage or the part on your dash where you control you music I read somewhere its better to use the eclispe verison. If that makes sense.

the eclipse uses a dual din opening instead of the din and a half dodge used ... by getting an eclipse center console you can use the double din opening

It really depends on whether you're going for bass or clarity for the sound system. For bass, obviously a decent amp and some decent subs. I listen to mainly metal and in my old car I had two 6x9 Infiniti Cappas running off of 750watts and it sounded amazing. You could literally hear me approaching from a couple blocks down, without all the papering out of the speakers and rattling noise.I'm not too big into subs so I can't recommend which to use, but if you're going for overall clarity and not bump, I'll swear by the Cappas or anything newer by Infiniti.

Your gonna have to break that down for someone who never worked on speakers.

Infinite I want clarity, I ain't fellin bass no more. Stufff gets loose and raddles, and I don't like all that thump in my chest. So Im I gonna have to splice anything or should I just leave this to the pros

well all i know is that i had stock speakers and a crappy deck that came with my car, i replaced my deck, 6.5"s, and 6x9"s and now i hear a tremendous difference, if you are going to get better stuff i highly advise it it makes a difference
