It would be pretty obvious if the amp is removed there would be a large bundle of wires under the rear deck ...

 

Sorry im new to this car audio thing.im still confused! the RMS on the 6x9s are 60 watts and the RMS on the 6.5s are 40 Watts? Since the stockinfinityamp only puts out 36 RMS per channel will the speakers get damaged by underpowering them? if so what are some ideas so that i dont ruin my new speakers? Also would i need to bypass the amp for my door Speakers(6.5) because they are 2 way speakers?

 

Also the speakers are 4 ohms. What does that mean?

 

You'll be fine ,underpowered are OK ... The Coaxials for the door are a waste as the amp cllips the frequency and sends it to the dash speakers

 

Well it's hard to tell exactly what the guy did that had it before me. There were a jumble of wires everywhere.. which is leading me to think he nabbed the amp when he sold the car. I had to take the car to an audio place and have them wire it for me because I couldn't tell for the life of me exactly what was going on in the jungle of wires.
