My 95 did the same thing. Once I replaced the tranny I had all of my gears. It seems to be the fate of this type of trans. And the guys on this forum are good on all of this. Just listen to them and decide what you want to do. Good luck.

 

flushed the trans, has better accel, and smoother while it still shifts, but goes back to limp mode....

 

well, i fluched my trans, changed all my firewall relays, changed my input AND output sensors, check both connecters, and still nothing. i guess aamco was right, ill call them tommaro, and set up a appointment to get my trans rebuilt, on average how much does it cost and is there any preformance parts i can replace while im at it.

 

As I was saying , you may have a broken hub with shaft. Automatic trans don't work the same as manual trans. There are an underdrive hub and overdrive hub,that has the shaft that goes thru the 2/4 hub and connects to a sun gear, thats connected to the front planetary gear and connect the rear platetary. And there five clutch packs in the transmission. U/D O/D REV 2/4 and L/R. You need to remove the trans and do a tear down. If you want the part numbers and prices, just send an pm or email. Check your cat on the exhuast. MasterTech keyed me on this and it was the fix for my car going into limp mode. I would listen to MasterTech and do what he says. Kudos to MasterTech.
