Broken Seat
Big Boy, mine did the same thing. Dodge dealership told me I was sol (didn't even act like I could get another one). We have a bodyshop, so we tried to fix it on our own. First fix was to remove as much of the cover as we could (zipper under the back...get in the backseat and feel around under the seat and you'll find it). There are large holes in the seat itself. If you can find a piece of metal and slide it under to reinforce it and stabilize the seat and bolt it in using the holes that are already in the seat. I wish my husband had done this (which was my idea) but instead he wielded it. The seat is now lopsided and very uncomfortable (plus you have to use wielding blankets and such so you don't set the fabric on fire). If you can reinforce it, get another one (which I'm about to do myself). Go to www.car-part.com and find one.

Pappi, you know when you get 5 men in a bodyshop with a wielder staring at a problem they are going to find some way to use that wielder. I was the one who found the zipper and stuff on the seat when no one else seemed to be worried about it. When it broke I was very close to the dealership and so I drove it there. They didn't even seem to care even though I said I don't care what it cost to fix it. It just didn't look right for a short white woman to drive around with her seat laid all the way back.
I realligned the seat (broke clear through the metal on the left driver's side seat), but found a few factory holes that would have been perfect to just fit a small plate in there to bolt it back in place. I even had the bolts picked out and had the drill in hand when the men decided their way would work nicely. I have a seat being held for me here locally....hope it matches up.
