I have no idea where the original radio is, but the Infinity amplifier has been bypassed. Needless to say, I don't have any use of my dash speakers. Can I use the factory Infinity amp with an aftermarket radio?
It depends how they bypassed it ...
If the wires are intact then all you need to do is connect the white wire with black silver dots to the remote line on the aftermarket head unit

If the wiring is intact you can just connect the white wire with black or silver dots on the factory harness to the remote line on the aftermarket head unit
It would appear that they did cut the speaker wires at the amp, but it's nothing that I cant put back together. I just didn't know if it would cause any electrical issues, since the aftermarket head unit has it's own amp built in.
No, I was referring to the fact that most all aftermarket head units have an amp built in so that an external is not needed. My question was would putting the factory amp back in line to the speakers cause any damage when used with an aftermarket head. Would that give me my dash speakers back? I don't know anything about the factory head unit. Was it only four channels back to the six channel Infinity amp?
