On a 98 avenger ES?I need to see if i can rig up my down pipe/flexpipe, so its not so loud.Dont have 200 bucks to replace it just yet....but autozones open so if i can get a piece of pipe to clamp over the leak and quiet it down for a couple weeks till i have x-tra money for a new one ill be happy.Ive never crawled under one of these lol, all i have is some 6ton jackstands and a stupid scissor jack, but itll have to do.

I just dont want to die in the process....anyone wanna help me out?Where do i put these things!Thanks in advance.

 

well my friend it depends on how rusty it is under there. theres a lip that you'll see under there, thats usually where it goes.

 

Yeah too rusty to use the pinch lip....i ended up using the steel str8 behind the control arm.Thanks!
