Default Rough idle, Stalls, Misfire

I have a 98 avenger and the problem i am having seems to be similar to alot of others. The car starts but idles very rough smells of gasand stalls at stops. If i let the car idle in park it will continue to idle very rough. Everytime it stalls it starts back up again sometimes i have to give it gas to get it started. I have gotten the codes read by a handheld code reader and by the dealer. The codes it gives are for TPS, Misfire, map sensor. I have replaced the tps, idle air control, spark plugs and crank position sensor and nothing changed. I was told it may be the o2 sensors but i get no codes for those. Any help would be apreciated.

An update on the condition... i just replaced the map sensor after taking it to the dealer and them telling me thats what it was. Did not help anything. I actually had to drive the carback from the dealer and the problem seems to be getting worse. I have to give the car gas to get it to start up and it hardly idles anymore. any help would be greatly apreciated....

First I'd run seafoam thru the intake and gas system .... Since you've replaced a laundry list of things the few things you don't list are plug wires , distributor cap/rotor , EGR valve

I'm having the same problem....already did full tune up, checked egr valve, all relays, even put in another computer (used one).... the car will run fine for 10 seconds then the map sensor code will come on and the engine dies. Let me know if you find anything out,.... i'm going on 2 months without my car.
