Default engine swap

I currently have a 97 es with a 2.5 and automatic trans., will a turbo 3.0 from a 97 3000GT fit in like the other 3.0's that you guys have told me about? and/or could the use of a turbo 4cyl. be a large enough power increase to make up for the cost and labor involved in the swap? if neither, could a 3.0 have an aftermarket turbo attached and still fit properly?

I just don't want to do all the work and not really see the difference in power.

Thanks in advance for the input

NO ... the 3000gt will not fit totally different motor ...
The 4 cyl turbo is a possibility but the cost of the turbo kit or the donor turbo car might be more then the venge is worth ...
3.0 has a supercharger kit available from rippmods

do you have any idea what type of power increase would a 4 cyl turbo give over the 2.5 and would the tranny bolt up? I may be able to get the turbo motor for a good price

Would the 3.0L out of a mini van work?? They both are by mits. Or is the engine too tall for the enginecompartment.
