My 1995 Dodge Avenger Is Not Starting And It Always Needs A Jump!
Since I found an SXT Charger loaded with options for $12,900 I was only able to get $600 trade value. The car was starting to need a lot of work and my wife and I are expecting a child so it became time to let the Avenger go. If I would have had the work done for what the car needed I would not have accepted anything under $1500 trade and $2000 sale price but I was looking at $1500 worth of work. But I also have a few parts left over from the Avenger I can still sell on ebay. Brand new headlights I hadn't used, 2 factory spoilers and silver primax wheels. In all I should get $300 out of all the parts that I can apply to my new Charger.
Ok, the problem is being solved right now so everything should be good. However the dodge dealership told me that my transmission looks like it is a used one from the junk yard. I went to a mechanic to get that done however the mechanic was supposed to rebuild my transmission. My receipt has a 6 month warranty on it, what do you think i should do about this?? I dont even know what ima do!
Hi I am a nube at this so please help. I have a 95 avenger ES V6. It has been cutting out on me while I drive but continues to run after a second or two. It also doesn't always start. About 85% of the time it doesn't. When I stick the key in the ignition there is a clicking sound in the left side near the vent by the driver window and in the back of the car somewhere. Then it will loose all power. I really need this car to work for me. Please someone help. This car also has an automatic start that was already installed when I bought it. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
On a side note, I have read somethings that say to change a bunch of sensors and egr valve and relays. Which do I do???
