Default Headlight assembly.....

ok so I THOUGHT it would be easiest to get the third bold off the fog light bracket out by removing the flashlight which btw it isnt. For all you wondering the best way...

Remove the blinkers and remove the top bolt then remove the bolts from behing the bumper towards the center of the car. You dont have to remove the bumper that way but you might want to invest in a ratchet wrench before hand. Anyway....

So I was gonna take out the light. I have had the passenger light out once before. Car was in a wreck a long time ago and the assembly is held together with something like puddy. Anyway. the bottom bolt I cannot get out. I can pry on the assembly while unscrewing the bolt but it never wants to come out. I have no idea how to fix this.

I think I am getting a little aggrivated too.

Oh yea. Who else has an avenger with a personality. Just thought i should ask.

There's a brass insert in the place that it bolts to... likely it's spinning ...I've had good luck getting a set of vice grips and "crushing" it into the plastic to hold the brass
If you get it loose that way you'll need to epoxy it in place to reinstall ...

If that won't work you might have to dremel off the bolt or cut the plastic arm ...
