I am having the same problem with my car. It is a 1995 intrepid. It has a rough idle that started a few months ago and it gets a little worse when put into gear. The car runs and drive fine. Only the idle is the problem. I don’t know a lot about dodges. So any help would be great. Thanks

It's like any other Dodge , Clean Intake with Seafoam , Throttle body , ect.
After that remove the IAC and clean it. If that doesn't help block the EGR and see if the idle smooths out.
You have to verify that the spark is consistant

How do I block off the egr? I have done plugs and wires, about 6 months ago as PM. I have not done the sea foam yet, but was going to soon. what is the best way to get everything clean? I was thinking about letting some suck into a vaccum line.

I DO NOT have your car so can't say the best way to block the EGR usually I use a gasket cut to shape where it feeds into the intake

yes the vac line feeds in the best
