For a deep throaty grumble whithout busting your wallet you might wanna check out some dynomax ultra flows or glasspacks

Ok I have a flowmaster super 44 on mine I dont have anything as far as video yet but after I get it all fixed up and pretty I will, however this is what I did, I researched online (YOUTUBE) for the sound that I wanted from my flowmaster to pick which one was right for me i wasnt impressed with how they sounded on the dodge avenger but i knew they were great sounding exhausts cuz all my buddies use em so I found this video, http://videos.streetfire.net/video/C...ter_154058.htm and decided to buy a flowmaster super 44 just because you can get em way cheap online! and brought it to a local shop (a flowmaster one) and showed em the video and said MAKE MY CAR SOUND LIKE THIS, lol and of course they laughed @ me but like any business man never laughing @ money they gave it a shot and I must say it does not sound EXACTLY like that mustang but pretty damn close! only cost me total of $300 including the exhaust so I was happy!

Oh and I am sure if you do some research online you could figure out how to do it yourself I am just lazy and wanted instant results so i had a shop do it, the reason I say research is because I have heard some dodge avengers on youtube with flowmasters (or what they CLAIM to be) that sound like complete **** so i dunno if maybe some other mods need to be done or they are just lying about having flowmasters on. ill find out from the guy who did mine for ya!

Oh boy, so your going to need to start with a Y pipe.....apparently I have a dual conversion they did with random parts, which if you look around and are good with figuring things out can be done @ home should be able to find a Y pipe that will bolt up to your headers on ebay or somewhere else CHEAP from there its pretty self expl, you can get pipe kits from flowmaster and of course shop around for all the parts nesc. you should be able to do the whole system for around $500 maybe less. Also the o2 sensors will be a pain but you may be able to find a harness adapter the goes from single to double (is this sounding complicated?) im not sure but there are mixed reviews on what to do about the o2 sensors! again more research for that issue if your ok with mechanics this is a pretty simple project and WELL worth it.

You can go to the THRUSH/DYNOMAX web site they have sound clips of their mufflers. That's how I chose mine for my 1998 Dakota and 1995 Avenger which I chose the glasspack for the truck and the hush for the car.. Some local shops carry both mufflers I paid less than $100.00 for both mufflers and a local shop installed both welded for $100.00 per vehicle. (reminder: YOU WILL LOOSE THE DEEP PREFORMAMCE SOUND DUE TO THE CAT)

Not sure if you have found a muffler yet or anyone else that is looking.

When I had my 96 I ran a Magnaflow with the dual tips on the end and it sounded great, DO NOT GET A FARTCAN!!! I also added 2 1/2" pipe from the y back.
