I have a 99 Avenger with the factory Infinity MR158403. I had the alternator replaced and then the radio didn't work. I replaced the fuse (under the hood) and the radio worked but there was no sound. I figured there was a fuse for the amp (there is, under the driver's side dash, but it wasn't blown.) Then I bought another Infinity amp, but it didn't make a difference: No sound.

Any ideas?

 

check the large gauge red wire and the white wire with black/silver dots for 12 volts on the amp

 

Okay, no power. Is there a fuse?

 

No power on either ??? there is no fuse on the white with black/silver dots
