Default What are the specs on the factory infinity system?

What does the head unit push?
What about the amp?
And what are the specs on the stock speakers?
And are the door speakers 6.5 or 6 3/4? .every site i check says 6.5 but iv'e heard some say they're 6 3/4.

Would these work well with the stock amp?

Here are the specs ,,,
6 Channels 26 watts RMS at 4 ohms from the amp
I've never found a rating on the head unit

The doors are 6 3/4" but the 6 1/2s are a good fit as well
Here's the trouble , the amp has crossovers and will not feed highs to the doors as it's split at the amp and splits to the tweets and the door
the BEST way to go is the component set and skip the component crossover

not without a decent amount of metal removal. I'd just spring for a pair of good 6 3/4's or 6 1/2's. May just be my ears but they sound better up front than oval type speakers

unless you get slimline 6X9's (the bass will suffer) the window will interfere with depth

How well would infinity perfect 6.1 componenet work with the stock amp?
Would the tweeter that comes with them fit in place of the stock one in the dash?
If so how hard is the dash to take apart?

the front dash speakers will just pop out without even needing to mess with the dash. They are either 3" or 3 1/8th", can't remember off the top of my head. What i do remember is they are a pain to find a replacement for.

Default I-Mount Starfish

I used the I-Mount Starfish and some epoxy to mount my tweeters to the stock grills.

I'll post some pictures later I'm at work and they are on the laptop.

3 1/8" bose tweeters are a direct drop in (under $20 a pair off ebay)

To adapt them I cut a plexi blank with a hole saw then cut the center out to mount the tweeter, then use the stock grill to cover them
