Ok so I tries replacing the solenoid with another and it ended up having 3 nipples on it instead of 2. I have one ordered but the guy couldn't tell me if theirs has 2 or 3 nipples on it and just kept telling me that they are all the same. I had it second day shipped to me so it will be here Thursday. The question is, Do i have to do anything to the gasket or do i just put it on and torque it down???

Help is appreciated :P

 

new gasket is prefered and they are quite easy to rebuild

 

I've rarely seen a solenoid pack fail. there are 2 different designs and you have to be careful to use the correct corresponding gaskets. but WTF do you mean by 'nipples'? The 3 bolts are torqued to 105 in-lbs.

All new solenoid packs are the same. They all have 3 nipples has you call it. But once you torque the solenoid pack down , one of them gets pushed into the pack and you don't see it. There was two designs, old design had a plate and two gaskets. New design only has one gasket.
