whats a cps test?

I bet his ASD would be ok since he said it had spark???

Hey Sapporo, I bet you are gonna help me with my car that takes too long to start even if everything seemed to be fine when I checked them.

crank position sensor ... seen one that was causing it to not fire in the right time
I've had an ASD that was high resistance that allowed spark just not enough to run

oh the term for crank sensor is CKP that's what had me messed up. I find that when a cam sensor acts up on these cars, they start when it's cold but when they get hot they quit but yet still have spark but the spark signal is all out of whack with the piston position.

Thanks badvenge. I really appreciate all of the help you have given me. Its at the shop right now and they're gunna run a scan in the morning. I'll let you guys know what it is.

Well if you READ his amp wire shorted and now the car will not start

when a guy has an aftermarket stereo system installed, poorly, you get a dead short which fries the electrical system
