Unhappy Dodge Avenger 1995!! dervech

the transmission did not change when you start the car, but if you turn it off and the turn it on again, the transmission work good, but later the problem came back, no check engine light on, the scanner said that LOW REVERSE SOLENOID falult, what do i have to do it to Fix it

it can be a clogged passage or a bad solenoid

How many Solenoids have the Avenger?? whats the clogged?? i really dont know what it is? thank you!!!

It can be a passage INSIDE the tranny clogged causing low pressure to the solenoid pack Do you have the EXACT code #

There are alot of passages (vains) inside a transmission to control and direct the about of transmission fluid flow. if there is a restriction to your reverse solenoid then enough pressure will not build up to engage the reverse clutches.

Depending on how many miles on you avenger I would have your transmission flushed. So shops won't touch it if its over 100,000miles and/or if the fluid is serverely burnt.

No I dont have the specific code, but the scanner said Low-Reverse Fault, Papidread- the car has 110,000 miles, question may I try to change the transmission filter?? or change the solenoid, and which solenoid I have to try first??

A flush and Filter change may help , but can't be sure without the code
