Default Replacing Shocks on 99 avenger

I have managed to tear apart the entire rear end of the car and have come to a freezing point. The rear shock mounts seem to be covered by the interior.

I would like to know what the best way to remove the rear interior without destroying it. Also If anybody can direct me to a good thread that has pictures or even an explanation about replacing a shock mount would be much appreciated. I have tried searching the forum and google which resulted in nothing and then reviewed page by page until I went slightly insane in the forum.

Thank you.

Drop rear seat backs down remove the two plastic pieces that form an arch across the rear behind the seats , mounts are behind there... I believe 2 14mm bolts to drop the mounts and remove the bottom bolts to remove the strut assembly , use a spring compressor to compress the spring remove the top bolt and top hat assembly examine te rubber bushing and te rubber isolator replace strut /reassemble

What is the best way to remove the two sides that make up the back seat. I can stick my hand behind them but cannot find anyway to release them. So I do not have to take off the carpeting that is on the top with the speakers correct?
Thank you very much for the help.

NO just pull the plastic arch out and you can then reach it you have to pull the two seat paets (not the flip down parts) you pull out and theres a bolt

I figured it out. Thank you. There was one bolt that I overlooked and after that everything came out flawlessly.
