Hi guys, Im 16 and looking for my first car. I came upon a 1999 Avenger V6 ES that I really like. Has only 125K and they are asking 3800. I have a couple questions.

1. Is this a good first car?
2. Is the mileage and price good?
3. Are these cars considered 'cool' or sporty? (Dont really care, just wondering)

I know about the transmission issues, but the shop went through it and said it was in fine shape. Thanks guys!

 

Price sounds high to me theres a 2000 here with 90K for $2800 Fully loaded

They are not a bad first car

Although theu look sporty they are not the fastest thing out there

 

That price is high for the mileage. I bought a 95 two years ago with over 100K miles and bought it for I want to day either 1500 or 1700. That car lasted a little over two years before the transmission finally went. See if the seller will come down on the price and Blue Book it first and see what it runs. If the seller won't come down look else where.
