Default Trunk Leak

I'm back. I have dripping on both sides of my trunk lid. When we get a lot of rain, each side of the inside mat gets wet located near the front right and left corners. Has anyone had this issue? The seal looks new.

I used silicone when I installed it. I will double check it. There are body seams at the drip areas. Have you heard of them leaking?

I've heard of the spoiler leaking and third brake light leaking and running down the reinforcements

get in the trunk with a flashlight and have someone run a hose on it till you can find the leak

I opened the trunk during this current bad weather. It appears to be coming from the body seams nearest to the light assemblies, or possibly the light assemblies themselves. I was deceived by the puddles, they were traveling forward toward the front.

I removed the cracked seam material from the trunk and replaced it with new seam sealer. It is supposed to rain again soon, so I will be able to test it. If it doesn't leak, I will sand and paint it to match.
