That 3.0 V6 that was in the stratus RT was fairly lively, but it could not/cannot match most of the imports as far as performace....nor could the avengers V6's (STOCK). The newer stratus coupes with the 4-banger STOCK are a joke as far as performance goes. For petes sake Pontiacs Grand Am's could smoke it, i know this b/c i used to own an 01 Am GT and absolutely smoked my friends 03 Dodge Stratus SXT....and no doubt in my mind if i still had that car it could run with a stock RT. ANYWAYS I think dodge shoulda kept the coupe going and given it a different motor or like DevilsReject mentioned an SRT-6 model woulda done the trick.
