It's console for future reference

It is possible, and while it takes a little effort, it looks awesome! silvercoupe97, our Avenger section moderator, has done this swap. His car is the sweet sleeper of a ride.

You can view his console picture HERE

That's his cardomain site, and the pictures are located about 2/3's of the way down the page.

Thanks for the comment DR and you beat me to it
Yup, you sure can, it was a pretty easy swap also. The only things that you need to know is that you're going to need to get the 95-99 stock radio brackets and will have to get the correct shifter bezel to match what you have. You may find some on ebay in the Eclipse section or...I say, just go to a junkyard and look for one.
This swap is a panel for panel swap and everything lines up so it's not hard at all.

You won't have to "reinstall" the wires or anything like that, just remove the wireharness from the radio, but you will need to get either the Eclipse factory radio cage and "pocket" or just get an aftermarket radio install kit for the 95-99 Eclipse. Assuming that you have an aftermarket radio, if not...you will have to make your own bezel. The Avenger radio is a din and a half while the Eclipses are a double din radio slot(s).
The panels are the same except for the the shifter area. The shifter bezel need to be replaced. If you look at my pics, you can clearly see that the shifter bezel is wider than the Avenger/Sebring shifter bezel..plus, you will have to get the cupholder/ashtray component, since that piece pops out. Check your local junkyard for 95-99 Eclipses or look on ebay for them, they're not really that hard to find...the color that you want may be though (black/tan/gray).

I don't know the part numbers Frank, just what they look like and make, model, year that they came out of

That's what it should look like. There's more in my CarDomain link above my Sig pic.

Thanks, the one im looking at is made for the manual eclipse, and my car is automatic, is there a difference between sizes in the bezel...im guessing the pods will work since its from a eclipse, so it should fit since our interiors like the same (I had an eclipse)

It will fit. The only thing is that you will need an automatic shifter bezel from an automatic Eclipse. The one I have in the pic is an auto bezel and there was a huge difference with the size.
