Default Strange noise when going over bumps or turning.

I know it's not the CV joint. When i come to stop it clicks and when i start moving it clicks as well. It's one single click and it's metalic and loud. Could it be motor mount or some suspension part? Also, how can i tell if i have infinity system or regular

97 avanger ES V6

thanks

if you have the infinity sound system then when you open your trunk, inbetween the two 6x9's there will be an amp...if not, then its normal... as for the cv joint thing...umm...i dunno...

That click sounds like a balljoint. Check all your balljoints and I say that because I can't tell if the sound is coming from the front or rear. It's not your CV joints because that will make noise as you're wheels are moving while turning and if really bad, they will just grind no matter what direction your wheels are pointed.
Bottom line, it's suspension related.

I just went through the same problem and if you are still having it, it may be the lower compression arm. I would surely check up on that cuz when they looked at mine they said it could possibly cause the tire to not be securely attached anymore.

The recall is a free check. It would only hurt you to drop your car off and wait...I hated that part, lol.
It can still be the other moving parts in the suspension system though.

That is true that it can be the motor mounts too.

I think we need a little more detail and a better description though. A click is a sound a button makes and isn't that loud, a clunk is a sound that two or more big pieces of whatever makes and is loud, lol.

I would check the ball joints. I was having the same problem and at about 12:15 a.m. my ball joint snaps. My front ride side of my car dives down and my passenger tire is perpendicular to the car. HAd it towed top my house and fixed it the next day. total cost about $120.
