What kind of fluid did you put in? Check the fluid level with the car running to get an accurate reading on the stick.
Since it's still in limp mode even after the fluid change, I would take it to a garage. Limp mode is activated because there's usually something wrong with the tranny and if changing the fluid doesn't help even the slightest bit, it could mean big money.

I'm assuming it was tranny fluid, also changed the speed sensor as I was told that might be it.
My boyfriend is/was driving it and he's trying to take care of it.

Hey babyGirl - is your speedometer working? My speedometer stopped working when my car (95 Avenger) was stuck in second gear - I just got repaired this week- was just a speed sensor - repair charge was under $100 Good luck with yours and make sure you get at least 2 opinions - the first place I went to told me that I needed a new transmission!![sm=signs003.gif]Hmmm I see now in your post above that you've already changed the speed sensor...sorry!
