Default Where did it GO!

I was in traffic in Hot A$$ Houston Weather with the A/C on the 3rd notch. It was bumber 2 Bumber couldn't leave 1st gear. Yo then my the A/C started blowin out warm air, looked down at my gauges for a check engine light low coolant or sumthin and I saw the water temp gauge rises. So I kill the A/C and turn her off. Kept turning the car on and off till I reached a driveway to pull in. But it was wierd she go hot but didn't reach all the way to the top. Got sum of dat 50/50 Dexcool put it in her let it sit for a lil and started her up. Needle was way low then went up to normal and stayed. Got out of the parking lot to a main road got to the light soons as it turned green she heated up me again. Pulled over again put coolant in it started it up and she slurped it all down before I got out the car to look at it again, check the ground and its no puddle on the ground. P.S Im putting coolant in the res tank NOT opening up the radiator cap! Did this like three times and sat for and hour lettin her cool finally I wuz like F~@K it topped off the res and left. SHe stayed normal the whole trip back.Got home checked the res bone dry.

Next Day took it 2 my boys shop she stay normal the whole trip he check my oil and did a compression test no leak and oil is fine. So we both are lost changed the radiator cap and thermostat charged me only $30. So my question is where did my coolant go I used the whole bottle and there is not sign of it.

Dump your coolant with a flush bro. You can't mix Dexcool with the green stuff. It will turn to gel!
Unless you've completely flushed your entire cooling system (and I still wouldn't do it) and not before then, can you put a different type of coolant into the system. The two, green and dexcool, cannot mix because they are two different (yet serve the same purpose) chemical mixes. Don't drive your car and completely flush it! Chances are, the two mixes have turned to a gel substance and are trapped in a cavity or two.[:@]
On a good note...you are correct to put it into your resevoir though, otherwise you would get a serious burn or two.

Naw yo my car already had dexool in it cause when I checked the rez it was orange. I checked it before I bout the antifreeze. Trust me dock back in Highschool shop class I still remeber the big speech that the teach gave me bout the 2. He said you can go from Dexcool to Antifreeze but can't go from antifreeze to dexcool even after a flush job. She has be riding fine though im still getting that flush job worride there might be water in the lines

Water in the lines are a good thing. Water dissipates heat faster than the chemical coolant anyways, it just boils quicker and ends up finding it's way out of the system. The chems are only there to keep the coolant tract from freezing and getting corroded or at least to keep it down to a minimum. That whole orange coolant thing is kind of misleading because some of DCXs cars use the orange coolant while a majority of their vehicles use green antifreeze. Mine (2.5L) came with the jolly green stuff. It's still a good possibility that your car did come with dex-cool type coolant. It doesn't make sense though since our motors are different than say a German made motor with very tight specs (they use dex-cool type coolant). My brother's Audi uses G12 which is a variant of Dex-cool or should I say the other way around. There's more to it though and too much to type out so I'll let you find it if you like .
Anyway, that's the only explanation I have for you...as to where your coolant is going...it's now a gel somewhere.
Since you're not the original owner, it could be possible that it's been mixed. When you get a chance check your oil to make sure neither oil of coolant have mixed. Run your car until it gets warmed up (one day that you're off) but keep it in one place and parked. Maybe put some cardboard under the motor and check for leaks, once it's cooled enough to open the rad cap, do so and check for coolant, then start the car again to check for flow.

Another thing you might have is an air bubble causing bad to no flow conditions, which means that you were running very dry. This can be caused by a poor sealing condition. To be at max effectiveness, all coolant systems should be completely sealed, full, and leak free.

Basically I filled the res to normal level 3 times turned the key came back out 2 check the res tank bone dry. Let the car sit for and hour filled the res tank to the brim and drove home.next day used what was left to fill the res drove to my friends shop and they changed the rad cap and thermostat. Both regulate the incoming and outgoing of coolant. There was no coolant on the ground, or in the oil so I was wondering where did it go.

1. small hole that leaked onto the engine and turned to steam before hitting the ground.
2. instead of the car sucking up the coolant from the res and taking it to the radiator it was shooting out the second res hose and onto the engine and turned to steam.
3. it went somewhere idk about yet?
4.Silvers idea and it all turned to jelly in my system!
